The October-December Walks Program needs to be altered, because of covid-19, and because of boggy conditions at Killawarra.
The proposed weekend at Typo Station (October 22-24) will be postponed to 2022, dates to be advised.
The operators of Typo Station have advised that they are unable to offer their venue, given the current restrictions.
The replacement walk, in lieu of Typo, is to the Eldorado Waterfalls. The catchment area is already soaked, and we are expecting some more rain, so hopefully the waterfalls will be running well.
Here’s the blurb,
Sunday 24th October, Eldorado Waterfalls. Text message Jeanette, 0417 546 974.
A medium walk of approximately 15k close to Eldorado, visiting two waterfalls, including the Larrawallup Falls along Clear Creek. The walk is mostly on dirt roads, some bush track, and some off-track sections. Elevations vary from approx 230m to 400m. (AWTGS-3)
The Killawarra Forest Walk, scheduled for October 21, will now take place on October 26.
